The sense of something moving without moving must be watched carefully.  Moss crawls and grow slowly around the still objects.  This moss covered piece grew from a need to be grounded in an out- of-control world and to make connections and answer questions in a time that seems to be void of magic.  It might help bring a moment of contemplation, like the quietness in the forest when the floor is covered with moss, absorbing sound. There are layers upon layers on the pendulum, most that you can't see  - text, stories, photos, and imprints from nature.
