This work is a play on the traditional ceramic tchotchkes that were on shelves all around me growing up.  Antique little things, small collections creating a "normal" house - this cat woman presents as a small quaint piece until under the pretty exterior you notice her limbs have broken and she smokes cigarettes.   Real life versus playing make-believe.
